There is only one human agenda in these exciting and challenging times – to discover the appropriate role of our species in the magnificent process of creation which began 15 billion years ago.
As we experience discomfort in this time, let’s begin to dream of a new normal, a new normal that addresses the weaknesses and problems that were going unaddressed in the old normal. If we’re wise, we won’t go back; we’ll go forward.
We need to be angels for each other, to give each other strength and consolation. Because only when we fully realize that the cup of life is not only a cup of sorrow but also a cup of joy will we be able to drink it.
What is clear is that the earth is mandating that the human community assume a responsibility never assigned to any previous generation…. Our task at this critical moment is to awaken the energies needed to create the new world and to evoke a universal communion of all parts of life.
Relationships are all there is. Everything in the universe only exists because it is in relationship to everything else. Nothing exists in isolation. We have to stop pretending we are individuals that can go it alone.
